Hilando Libertad is a project, a desire of the Patagonia Hecha a Mano Cooperative, which teaches the trade of spinning to the male prison population, breaking gender paradigms.

Spinning freedom is an aspiration based on the theory of withdrawal, approach that assumes that successful social reintegration rests on a combination on motivation, human and social capital.

The products are made by inmates from Punta Arenas prison, and put on the market by Patagonia Hecha a Mano who supports them with management and networks.
